About Me
Behind the Words
I’ve always loved stories.
Long before I called myself a writer, I was paying attention — to conversations, ordinary moments, music, photographs, and the details that often go unnoticed.
Over the years I’ve studied Journalism, worked as a photographer, conducted choirs, and explored different creative paths.
Looking back, I think they were all teaching me the same thing: how to notice. Today, this website is where those experiences come together.
I hope you’ll find essays that make you pause, photographs that invite you to look again, and stories that remind you that ordinary life is often more beautiful than we realize.
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

My Story
So far
I don’t remember deciding to become a writer. I only remember always being one.
As a child, I couldn’t let stories end. When a book was over, I invented what happened next. By eleven, I was filling notebooks with my own stories. At seventeen, I founded a newspaper for young people in Brazil, discovering that what fascinated me most wasn’t the news itself—it was the people behind it.
Life eventually brought me to California, where I learned a new language, earned a journalism degree, built a career in photography, discovered a love for conducting music, and raised a family.
For years, writing quietly waited in the background. This website is my way back.
Here you’ll find essays, reflections, stories, and glimpses of the people and moments that have shaped my life. Some are joyful. Some are ordinary. Some ask difficult questions. All of them are written with the same curiosity that first led me to pick up a notebook many years ago.
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Why I Write
I don’t write because I have all the answers.
I write because paying attention has always been the way I understand the world.
Here you’ll find essays, stories, photographs, and reflections on faith, family, creativity, and the beauty hidden in ordinary days.
If something you read here makes you pause for a moment, smile, or notice something you hadn’t before, then this website has already done what I hoped.
Creating Beyond the Page
Writing is only one part of my creative world. Whether I’m behind a camera, conducting a choir, traveling somewhere new, or simply noticing the beauty in ordinary moments, every experience eventually finds its way back onto the page.
Creativity isn’t divided into separate boxes. Music teaches me rhythm. Photography teaches me observation. Travel teaches me curiosity. Together, they shape the stories I tell.
Places: Stories from the Road
Some places stay with us long after we’ve returned home.
Travel reminds me that every place has a story — and every journey changes the way we see the world, even after we unpack our bags.
